Google Cloud × Intel × NASA Frontier Development Lab: Solving NASA’s Toughest Challenges

At Monks, I worked on the integrated campaign that brought NASA’s Frontier Development Lab to life: an AI research accelerator where young researchers use Google Cloud and Intel technology to tackle challenges that affect life on Earth from predicting floods and solar storms to exploring the Moon.

The work needed to make some very big, very technical subjects feel immediate, human and visually irresistible. We built the campaign around an anthem film, a three-part documentary series and an immersive WebGL microsite, turning the Earth, Moon and Sun into a world audiences could actually explore.

I shaped the creative and scripts for the films, then carried the work through production in Spain and California, edit, grade and sound. Across the wider campaign, I helped ensure the films, writing, visual identity, motion and digital experience all felt like one connected idea — not separate deliverables.

The result was a campaign that gave complex research a human face, and gave the platform the cinematic scale it deserved.
