A four-part short series in which young Dutch women of mixed heritage share their perspectives on identity, shaped by topics such as family and upbringing, hair, self-esteem, racism, and microaggressions.

The series explores the cultural tension that often comes with being of mixed race, particularly during formative teenage years. Through personal reflection, each story reveals how these experiences influence self-image and belonging.

By speaking openly, they aim to create recognition and offer a sense of solidarity. The project encourages a younger generation to begin their journey toward self-acceptance earlier, with the understanding that they are not alone.
