What happens when you give women direct financial support instead of complex aid programs? We followed three remarkable women in Rwanda who each received $8 per week for 100 weeks.

Meet Epiphanie - a mother of six who had to abandon her dream of becoming a nurse. Claudine, who struggled to provide even one meal a day for her family. And Madelaine, who could never save a penny because everything went to survival. That weekly $8 didn't solve everything - they're still facing poverty - but it gave them a chance to build something. They started small businesses, created some stability, found ways to help their families move forward.

We wanted the film's visuals to be as raw as their stories. Using AI Midjourney, we created collages, printed and ripped them, then photographed them again. The result is a textured, honest look that matches their narratives. With one shooting day per woman, we captured intimate, observational moments of their daily lives. The music reflects our journey there, adding another layer to their powerful stories.

This film isn't just about aid - it's about resilience, and motivational support and rethinking how we support communities in need.
